When we met

I can’t seem to move past the first time we embraced.

You waltzed in with fervor; gliding with a smile on your face.

The others in the room, their noise dull and lulling.

I saw your soul just open and glowing.

Oh, how I wished to cup your cheek.

To tell you right then and there how much I knew you loved me.

But I didn’t really know

That when we shared arms touching.

Our souls then and there were silently merging.

Our hearts entangled into one.

Forever together.

Rising with the Sun.
