All that I lived through has been nothing short of a nightmare. There’s been monsters and bears, ghosts and foul play. The demons in those closets are dusty and ragged but they’re mine to tame. I learned such dark safety practices. My mind convinced me they were healthy responses, so we ran with them. And then there’s You. You happened to me.
Life changed for me in such vivid ways after that. I lost my fear and just went for everything I wanted. You. You are everything I wanted. So over time my shine just happened to get brighter. Like getting close to you was me changing my lightbulb. Like I needed you to see the goodness I possessed. You aided in showing me my purpose.
