Isn’t it just bonkers how love blossoms? You meet some stranger, recognize the look in their eyes, and then simply, never leave each other’s lives. How absolutely nutty that we cross lines and boundaries to know others. All to find that someone who you want to try life with—that familiar gaze.
When our eyes met that fateful night, I knew I loved you for sure, no doubt. I saw the look that I see every day in the mirror when I look at me. One of grace, understanding and softness. And you had the same one. Just staring into my soul who knew yours from lifetimes ago.
